What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is an FDA-cleared alternative to liposuction that uses Cryolipolysis fat-freezing technology to safely get rid of unwanted fat cells by up t 37% in a treated area. No anesthetic is needed, and no incisions need to be made. No fear of scars or rippling as often seen in liposuction procedures in Houston. You will be ready to return to your regular routine right after treatment. With targeted cooling, your fat is safely chilled to damage the fat cells without harming surrounding skin or tissue. The treatment lasts 1 hour per area and then during the weeks following your procedure, your body will naturally eliminate the damaged fat cells, leaving you looking slimmer and better than before, Guaranteed or we will treat you a second time for free!

Who is a Candidate for CoolSculpting?

Ideal candidates for CoolSculpting should be within 15 to 20 pounds of their ideal weight and should be otherwise healthy. The best candidates have small pockets of diet- and exercise-resistant fat that they want to remove. If your goal is to lose a great deal of weight, CoolSculpting may not be an option for you.

How Does CoolSculpting Work at Renew Body Contouring?

When you come in to the Renew Body Contouring Clinic for your CoolSculpting treatment, we will place a protective gel over the treatment area, this will be slightly cool. Once you are comfortable, the CoolSculpting device will be applied and use a combination of gentle vacuum pressure and deep cooling to treat the fat below the skin and freeze unwanted fat cells.
Patients can usually sit comfortably while the device does its work. We offer books or magazines, watching a movie or surfing the Web on our Ipad, all available for your personal use as well as beverages and snacks. As a result of the cooling, you may feel some numbness during treatment, and the treatment area may be red afterward, but this usually fades within a few hours. CoolSculpting can treat the waist, hips, thighs, buttocks, abdomen, arms, back, flanks, “love handles”, and a “muffin top.”
